MEMORY NOTCH FOR WINDOWS · IN DEVELOPMENT
Memory Notch for Windows.
Join the beta.
We are building Memory Notch for Windows. It is not ready yet. Join the beta and we will email you when there is a build to try.
It needs Windows 11 and an NVIDIA RTX graphics card. An RTX 20-series card or newer, with at least 8 GB of video memory. It will not run on AMD or Intel graphics, on Windows 10, or on ARM PCs. The full requirements.
What it will do
The same job it does on a Mac. A small pill at the top of the screen opens into the recording panel. It records your microphone and your PC’s own audio, so both sides of a call are kept, with no bot joining the meeting. It transcribes live, labels speakers, and saves each recording as a Markdown note in a memory folder.
A note made on Windows is in the same format as one made on a Mac, so it reads the same on either. Recording and transcription run on your PC; your audio, transcripts, and notes are not sent to us.
The first version will not have everything the Mac app has. Ask AI and the memory command-line tool come later.
What your PC needs
- Windows 11, 64-bit. Version 21H2 (build 22000) or later. Windows 10 is not supported: the way the app records your PC’s audio needs Windows 11.
- An NVIDIA graphics card, RTX 20-series or newer. Technically, CUDA compute capability 7.5 or higher. Transcription runs on the graphics card, so this is not optional.
- At least 8 GB of video memory on that card.
- NVIDIA driver 570.65 or newer.
- About 1 GB for the speech models, plus room for your recordings.
- Not supported: AMD and Intel graphics, Windows on ARM, and older or smaller NVIDIA cards. On a PC that does not qualify, the app can open your notes but cannot record.
Not sure what you have? Open Task Manager, choose Performance, then GPU. The card’s name is at the top right, and “Dedicated GPU memory” is its video memory.
Your licence covers it
A Memory Notch licence is US$79, once, for up to five of your own devices: Macs, Windows PCs, or a mix. If you already have one, you will not pay again for Windows. Without a licence, recordings stop at five minutes, as they do on the Mac.
What the beta involves
Beta testers get early builds before anyone else. In return we ask what worked and what did not: which graphics card you have, what broke, and what felt wrong. Early builds will have rough edges.
We do not have a release date, and we will not guess one here. We will email you when there is something to try.

You’re on the list.
We will email when there is a Windows build to try. If you had already signed up, we have updated your answers rather than adding you twice.
We keep only what you type here. To come off the list, email support@memorynotch.app. See the privacy policy, section 14.
